Dr. Guyot offers advanced teeth whitening services to his patients, using the chemical called Carbamide Peroxide which has been around for nearly two decades and is a proven tooth whitening material. There are several different ways in which the procedure is performed, depending on the patient’s needs. Dr. Guyot conducts this procedure in office using high concentrations of Carbamide Peroxide for effective results; this is known as in-office bleaching. However, to make this process fully effective, it must be followed with some home bleaching, as per the guidance of Dr. Guyot.

Another popular method of teeth whitening Dr. Guyot utilizes is keeping a lower concentration of Carbamide Peroxide at around 10 to 15 per cent. The solution is placed in a tray that is custom-designed for the patient’s teeth. The patient must wear this tray for about four hours a day, usually at night, for approximately three weeks. This will whiten the patient’s teeth to the maximum possible level. Thereafter, twenty per cent solution will be used for touch ups every six months or so.
